Pilot Stores for Colon Cancer Screening

This partnership aims to improve early screening participation among Malaysians aged 45 to 75 by increasing access to immunochemical faecal occult blood (iFOBT) self-test kits at selected BIG Pharmacy and CARiNG Pharmacy outlets, alongside community engagement activities.

The iFOBT is a simple, non-invasive screening test that can be completed at home and is recommended by the Ministry of Health for colorectal cancer screening. Under this partnership, the cost of the test kits will be subsidised to make screening more accessible.
